Zone isn't dying.

It's a hell lot more sane than both iEra and iClassic.

No frequent lag spikes, no ****-all weapons.

Remember me? I was the one hating on the fact that zone had a crappy player count a while back. You gave me a similar picture that had a far bigger number than I'd ever seen on the player count. I don't want to say your lying, because you likely aren't, but that number is way, way out of place. Even now that zone's made so much... progress. The game is packed with content, but that content is not the hero zone needs. A lot of it is boring and unfinished, but I guess we the players oughta be thankful for it.

I feel like we could use more roleplaying themed content, and less pvp/pve elements (I hate pvp/pve personally, I find it boring and pointless. Personal opinion). But I feel like some of it does get boring fast (ship repair)  

Well if we're all speaking English here I'm certain that an increase of 30-40 concurrent players to 250-400 concurrent players is growing not dying. A continuous flow of new content and monthly events also seems to be going upward not downward. I don't really think you're big into the izone server so it's cool.

The majority of the players (at least 80%) only play graal for its PvP and PvE content. If graal was just roleplaying it wouldnt be much.. I like to RP too every now and then but I disagree with this. Graal needs more PvP content. At the moment we have spar, basing, and pking. If there was more I can gaurantee u that the playercount would explode. I cant say the same for roleplaying content even though there is a group of peole who enjoy it more than the other things graal has to offer.

Big difference in time for when the server was out compared to iEra and iClassic. Once the playercount drops to ~50-60 players, then we'll talk.

As a server that in the first 4-6 months that could barely keep a player count of 30-50 compared to now... I would say it is the opposite of dead. It's a small server with a smaller player count. It is still slowly growing and will most likely continue to do so. 525 is playercount is the current zone record. This is 200 players more than it had on release.

Sure Zone could use more content, but so could the other servers. With the other servers being out for 4+ years and most of those players having played that whole time it is obvious why they stay there. I wouldn't change a server that I worked many hours on and spent money on for another one. That is just ridiculous to expect players to do so. If you think players would do that then you are truly naive.

As much as I would love to constantly add new content to Zone it's simply not possible. I don't have all day to be on the server and neither does anyone else working there. We add what we can when we can and hope that it's something players enjoy. If you can't appreciate that then I would rather not see you on the server at all.

Graal Classic and Era usually reach at least 2.9k people on weekdays, and Graal Classic has now been reaching 3k daily, this server is dying, don't pretend it's not.

zone is dying because it doesnt have the same player count as era and classic. STRIKE 1

Yes but iClassic and iEra had a huge amount of players when they first started.

era player count after initial release, less than 500 for almost a year. classic player count the first 4-6 months less than 600 STRIKE 2

Zone is not dying, its just a really boring game yet very addictive like all the other Graal Servers. I could see the playercount on Era or Classic increasing because those Servers are actually a bit fun. Mr. Simons, your calculations are incorrect, this servers playercount will NOT increase, yearly, nor daily. This servers playercount will not exceed 800 and thats a guarantee.

Why am i saying this, because there are just too many servers being released, like i said in a previous thread of mine, if Graal could have stuck to one specific server, the playercount of that server will be very high.

I think you're the one who's calculations are incorrect. Zone's playercount has increased dramatically within the last year and still is increasing. Around a year ago we were lucky to be getting over 150 people, Zone now gets this many players at off-peak times. It may not be increasing at a fast rate but it is definitely increasing.

Yeah. Graal's always kind of been this way (at least iOS). Era and Classic have too much of a monopoly to get Zone on track though.

And if you're a Classic player, switching over to gun mechanics, not to mention 360 shooting, is far too much change.

A lot of old classic players play Zone including me, I didn't find it much of a struggle but that's my opinion.

The game is based on PvP/PvE though, that's what a lot of players play for. Roleplaying content doesn't hurt and some of it can be pretty cool, but I disagree with having "less pvp/pve elements". I for one would love to have more PvE, a mission and leveling rework would be really great. Right now leveling takes forever and isn't rewarding at all, seems pretty stupid to me how you get less gralats as you level.

Are you stupid? There are so many servers that most of the people that play this game would not know which server to play. The fact that so many servers are being released will keep Zones player count from rising which is a bad thing.
