I don't know anything either, but I can tell you this: there has to be a good reason. It wouldn't make sense to just make the cliff inaccessible. Let's all be patient and see how it turns out.

^^^this. Why just get rid of the stairs? remove or shrink down the cliff itself. You know ppl are too lazy to migrate over to the cliff on the west side. The only problem I have with this is now the damn street is going to be even more over crowded,and harder to get through in the lagfuge/bank area. There is still some dumb ass graal babies sitting over there to that don't seem to realize there is a new adoption center. UGH there better be a good reason for this!!!!

BTW is it just me or has the idle time been reduced to? Try idling in graal city and see how fast you get warped to an unstick me point and you will see what I mean.
