				 | Why? Is it because the color palette isn't filled with grays and browns like in Transformers? Its not supposed to look uber real. Its supposed to look good instead. The art style is absolutely stunning. Its the highlight of the movie. The vibrant red and green hues bouncing off the robots when they fight in hong kong sold me on the movie alone. It looks far better artistically than almost any of the recent special effects found in a big budget summer movie. Oh, and you can also coherently follow the fights and understand exactly what is going on... unlike another robot-focused movie I already mentioned. |

				 | This movie was absolutely amazing. I wasn't too amazed by the trailers, but I took the bite and I'm glad I did. Thanks for the recommendation Pimpsy. Really satisfying movie.

				 | I'm probably gonna wait until it is released on redbox, I don't want to waste 15$ on uncomfortable seats and mushy popcorn when I can watch it at my house on my couch for a damn dollar. #DutchLyfe

Oh yeah, by the way, Pacific Rim grossed $91 million dollars this weekend globally. It only made $38 million in the US. That's right, it made almost twice as much money overseas. | |
