Being first to play comes with it's perks already. You have more play time and experience. Your squads are better off than most of the new ones springing up. You have better stats than the general populace. People respect you (which, considering the attitude most "oldbies" display, is a stupid idea).

In my opinion you do not need an "extras" and "specialty items". You played the game before others. That does not make you more special or better than anyone else. It also doesn't give you the right to call anyone who joined later than Dec 29 a noob. Enjoy the game, and be fair. May God bless the world the day that one of you "oldbies" get some damn manners.

Haha. Might have had me there, but I never said I had manners myself. I do what I do and I do it well. It's not absolutely necessary for me to interact with the playerbase, because I'm not a GP. I can sit on the RC and/or Dev Server all day and make things for you but not have to deal with your complaints, problems and such.

However, as I enjoy helping and interacting with the players, I sit with y'all once in a while. Host events, answer questions, tackle some problems. None of which I am obliged to do. But when players, mostly the "oldbies", come around complaining and arguing about every damned thing, I get disgusted with y'all and honestly don't feel like spending hours upon hours of volunteer work to give you endlessly complaining brats content. Not saying that every player is like this, but it resounds in most of the self-proclaimed "oldbies".

Exhibit A: I'm stereotyping against the "oldbies". Not old players, but those who label themselves as "oldbies", and endlessly complain about "back in my day". I'm guessing you'd call yourself an "oldbie" and brag about "back when I started". Well let's see...do you not find it hilariously odd how you cannot accept and admit to the valid down faults I have listed, but rather must push in a witty remark? Well...more foolish than witty.

And once again, I'll admit my manners aren't the best. I don't take crap. However, unlike you "oldbies" who try to set yourselves up in positions of idolism for new players, I do not have to interact with and consequentially behave around players. Hell. I don't even have to be on the client.

I don't label myself as an "oldbie" since I admit there is a good amount of players who would ruin the reputation of older players because of their attitudes etc. And no, I tend to shy away from the "back in my day" stuff. I'd rather look forward at what iZone could improve on and what has been improved than complain about how things used to be better like some people do. When in all honesty zone is far better than whenever December/January.
As for the "foolish" remark. It was meant to be witty it's something that's just everyday second nature humor to me, not trying to start anything. It was mearly a joke to me, sorry if you took offense. As to the attempt of pushing away the faults, no that was not my intent as I don't consider them my faults, but after looking at it you might be able to assume so. Again, above I admitted there are players that do things like that and admit its not right. Although somehow you might categorize me with them. I don't.
