I don't know, my idea has nothing to do with Air Asia. I also don't know what other staff have planned for towers. My idea would be its own island, something original... like "Tower Island." Yes... that's nice. And there would be one large tower in the center, surrounded by three(or maybe four) smaller towers. Smaller towers would be taken like regular towers now, but the larger tower would only be able to be taken by a guild(or allies) that currently have one of the smaller towers. So in order to compete for the larger tower you would have to balance a defense on a smaller tower while forming a formidable offense for the center tower, and maintain both.

![]() Don't know if you want to include this, but I've always thought it would be cool if towers had some sort of mechanics other than PKing. For example, some players would be able to man cannons and fire on attackers while others would have to carry materials from the base of the tower (such as lumber, stone, etc.) in order to repair the tower. It would give more life and require more strategy than the current, monotonous system of basically spamming your sword. |

-If not, then it seems like too much work and competition for the main tower. -If so, first, youre nearly doubling the number of current towers; second to own the main tower your guild is required to own a smaller tower meaning double fort time is required; third giving fort time to smaller towers that are much easier to take. -So maybe compromise the middle and say smaller towers give HALF normal tower time. Other than that its a really good idea that would bring better competition to towering. Ive also always thought a Balamb fort would be awesome. a fort that only players with <30 hours can enter; no guild required; flag is controlled by a single player therefore doesnt add to "tower time", its just for fun and practice; 50-75hp; problem would be theres nothing stopping experienced people from making a noob account and dominating.. |

We don't need tower revamps; we need redesigned towers. Something spacious that doesn't allow a person to "block" an entrance. Redesigning the levels of certain towers would be incredibly helpful. Also we should have a tower system, for new players with less than 24 hours in balamb. That would be on the tutorial, and you just need to enter the flag room. It won't show up on map, and it would just put the player's name as owner. Time does not count and guilds owned by people less than 24 hours may take it, but they aren't allowed to have it count towards tower time. I also think "special" tower mechanics should be added. Mechanics such as not being able to block entrances but have barracks such as the york tent, where you create barricades. You can strengthen a barricade to 50 hp, and then you place it where you would like in the tower. Only 3 barricades are allowed, and barricades placed by the leader can only be moved by the leader. Once your barricade breaks, it will be in the barracks, where you could also implement the hammer item, to repair it. such as a hammer strike takes 1.5 seconds, and each strikes raises a barricade by 1, so each barricade would take about a minute and 15 seconds, and you could destroy in 20 seconds.

Would tower island just be like a huge level devoted to a tower? Or would it be an actual town too? I think it's an interesting concept. It'd be cool to make it more of a competition based place too. With archery, spar, guild spar, events maybe.
