Its not an issue to rename, just rename ganis, and rename the gani codes in the script  

It's more of common sense which you lack. So you're saying it's too hard to change an unreleased gun? And I have nothing against the gun, I just think alongside Sam, if the likes and power of Treyarch find out that Era is using THIER guns, you can expect a copyright infringement case. So why take the risk? And this is just my opinion, the staff and people may disagree which I respect.  

The names are fine. The guns are real. There are just some fictional modifications on them that make them "complete." I found this on a forum:

"KAP is the Kriss Kard and the M8 is an H&K prototype that competed to replace the M4. Plus it melted a few hand guards which is generally a no-no."

So basically, Black Ops 2 has these guns completely developed, instead of them just being a couple of discarded gun prototypes.  

Yes but they dont look like those guns, they look like black ops versions and thats what will make the copyright issues because of the same names

And thats why the names should be changed  

sam, if era got away with selling proffesional football teams helmets using THEIR logo, and not being sued or in trouble. Then what makes you think that blops2 will be mad?  

Because football teams weren't invented in a videogame, besides it shouldn't be this deal, all they have to do is change acouple of words around in the name, and its all good, they dont even have to edit the gani names or scripts because no-one sees them, just the item and inventory name  

Okay, then they should use the prototype names instead. The KAP and the M8. Easy.
