You kinda did miss the point. The only purpose I used SAO was to give a reference to how new Psycho-PASS is since I know he has seen it. Although it was partly on my fault since I believed by his argument that he thought Psycho-pass was like the older series (Death Note, Code Geass times) based on him saying how he liked the younger style better. I didn't think he meant that he enjoyed younger audience based anime over the mature kind. However comparing SAO animation with Psycho-pass is valid with SAO having darken scenes such as the dungeons and the whole GGO world, which is a futuristic industrial world similar to Psycho-pass's world. Plus we are talking about Psycho-PASS not it's sequel so it's not even a horror or gore based show (which is the biggest difference between the two seasons). Psycho-PASS and SAO are both action based shows, where as SAO focuses a bit more on fantasy and Psycho-PASS towards Sci-fi, but both takes place in the future with advance technology. |

Psycho Pass isn't a horror/gore anime, It's a psychological thriller and gore isn't a genre. |
