Though I wouldn't be surprised if Trump gained a lot of his support from his publicity.

That is exactly where he gets all of his publicity. More airtime = more supporters. It's a proven fact that, while not just on presidential elections, a lot don't vote on who they agree with, but whose name they hear more.

Because the election process is bull****? It's never been about who has the right views, but instead who's been purchased by media outlets, or who has the most amount of cash.

He's also winning on this thread poll, so I think it's fair to discuss him.  

Lol there's no problem with discussing Bernie Sanders... As for citing the Huffington Post, I cite biased media outlets, but I don't believe everything I read from them. Heck, every media outlet is biased now. You have to read it and understand what's fact and what's opinion. Plus it is true most elections are won by having the most commercials or signs in yards. On all levels lf government. When there's a local election, I always look for the biggest signs, or the most frequent signs, and I tell everyone that that person will win, and they usually do.

Although arguably the amount of signs posted reflects the amount of people who are actually going to vote.

Unless you're talking about signs posted on freeways. But you could argue the same with that.

His campaign was fueled by optimism from the start. Even then people were saying there's no way his campaign would amount to anything, and look at him now? I don't see much of a reason to start listening to everyone else now.

Even if he doesn't win, it was still an extremely respectable campaign he pulled off.

No, candidates get money from individual donations, and from wealthy businesses/businessmen. Not sure if any candidate has self-funded their own campaign before.

Trump is the only canidate self funding and not taking money from special intrests

I respect all views but I can't see how people can support Trump.

I'm not saying you are wrong, stupid or anything else, I'm just saying that I can't see what other people seem to be able to see.

Again, not bashing anyone who supports him, and I'm not saying my views are the almighty correct ones, I just decided to throw that out there.

I'd like to see more discussion from people who voted for Trump

i support him because he is the only one who talked about illegal immigration and how it needs to stop, he wants to finish what the government has started and make it better (yes we were supposed to have a fence along the entire border, also trump has a very long history of taking government projects and finishing them better, faster and cheaper than the government could do).

only canidate who even mentioned corporate inversion and bringing back our manufacturing jobs (im a welder so this applies to me heavily)

only person to mention how ****ed we are on trade and to stop being stupid and not punishing US companies that leave the country

TAKE OUT THE ****ING BS INSURANCE BORDERS LAWS (this allows insurances to monopolize certain areas and just keep raising prices for that certain area and they dont have to provide to anyone else that aren't in their territory, thats why health insurance was crap and played a huge roll in why obongocare was created)

rebuild our military that is in shambles currently.

Make other countries pay up for us defending them or we leave

knock the hell outta ISIS and leave the Middle East alone

Only canidate that doesn't foam at the mouth for removing Assad or a war with Iran (both will lead to WWIII since russia backs both of them)

not politically correct

toughen up on terriorist's

put up safe zones in Syria keeping refugees out of the US (meaning less people for tax payers to pay for)

Most importantly an America First policy

I'm so excited for president trump, I could've legally voted in the last election but I didn't. This time, I'm so excited to vote I turned registration into a party

you don't know what it's like to know you're pregnant and be aware of the fact that you will NOT be able to be take care of it. What if it was an accident, what if you're to young to have a child?

if you know you can't take care of a kid then why are you having a kid or unprotected sex in the first place? Also put the baby up for adoption if you know you can't take care of it.
