and you're what rose, 1700-2500? you dont know what a good sparrer is. you dont know what a "high sparring guild is". those are gone. you are just another negative ratio to boost off of. the only "sparring guild"s i see are the same as (Mother). they recruited everything that moves.

there's plenty of new sparrers who are fairly quite good. For comyt I would say; the 'good' sparrers that left, there's new ones coming everyday I spar for fun, not for score |

there is nobody new coming. i can't even name a "good sparrer" at this point. i'd say tae but he is inactive now too. all that remains is 4 average players, AKA "pros", 7 below average players, AKA "average", and negative ratios, AKA competent sparrers who we should all play against.

you're thinking way too logically and need to approach the situation more narrowly and with more bias and angst currently, many inactive sparrers have adopted this "sparring is dead" motto in response to one or more of (mainly) the following:
collectively, they ********** together and refuse to spar and instead sit around the Battle Arena chatting about the good' ol days, how sparring was so amazing at one point in time, how no one left has skill, how they were true and unmatched champions of Graal (yeah, it's embarrassing) these are the same players who don't spar for fun, they spar to prove things they spar to feel socially accepted and reputable within the community, you know, because sparrers are so cool to be around and have such great personalities (yes) so, with this handful of past sparrers **********ing and refusing to spar, they now treat anyone who currently spars as if they "aren't on their level" or something of that nature "sparring is dead" to them because they don't want to do it and can't accept that other people do it because they enjoy it |

1. of course we don't enjoy sparring anymore, because it is dead. and clearly the second half doesn't apply to me. see #3. 2. i still play against delayers, i made sarah an unskilled defensive unintelligent sparrer by beating her 32-0. i also just streaked 9 against her before ending your noob boosted streak. 3. i can reach the #1 spot on that trash leaderboard whenever i want to and i'm currently #2. there, all of your bullet points for reasons why people call sparring dead disproven when it comes to me. sparring is dead. and the wall of text underneath it, not gonna read because it's full of "**********ing" and probably relates to the three bullet points which i just proved wrong so there's a response. pick your next move. also i forgot to include again, sparring is dead. |

Does every Japanese player delay because of the terrible internet service in Japan? Does every Australian player delay because Australia just isn't up to date with the latest technology? Teach me. Do you know what space is? We have satellites way up in the sky. Sometimes communicating with those satellites can take hours, even days to ping back to the servers located here in the US. Why do you think that is? What's your best guess? How can that be applied to this situation? |

Then you didn't read or understand the post clearly, because you're being an idiot and making accusations that you're completely clueless about. I'll use another example since the simple minds of this forum will claim I am "defending Sarah" because she's a friend of mine and she's in my guild. There is a player on iClassic named Cally. Cally lives in Australia. Australia is roughly 9000 airline miles away from the United States, where the Graal server is located. Cally delays. You would be extremely stupid (sorry, just being honest) to immediately assume that Cally delays due to the quality of her internet. Do you think they just have poor internet in Australia? I don't get it. She delays because the distance between her ISP and the server Graal is hosted on is extremely far, and the data has to travel back and forth over that distance constantly. It takes time, and that time is reflected by her delayed hit detection. I don't know how many times this has been repeated in this thread. You guys are honestly absolute morons if you think people delay because Americans are the only people on the planet who have and/or can afford high-quality internet. Are you that sheltered? What the hell is wrong with you guys? |

Everytime I log on I spar Slayer, incognito, Thallen, Junior, Jagger... I've seen Rose spar a lot lately, Dante, Dizy, moneykid, Teck, Kata, Blood, Draz, Voodoo... Spar is definitely less popular now that the new school year has started and people of all ages are busy with all sorts of things, but there are still plenty of players that actively spar. And by that I mean players of all skill levels, not just "negative ratio" sparrers. Out of curiosity, how often do you need to spar to be considered active? I've been playing every other day when I get the chance for the past few weeks, and all I do in that hour or two is spar. There is always competition of some level, and people are always talking about it and having fun. Is spar really that dead if I find it hard to not find anyone to spar? And how often do I need to log on and spar to be considered "active"? Many others do this very same thing, and I personally wouldn't call them "inactive". It is a shame, but I do agree that some skilled players have been backing off spar lately because of other players bad connection problems or something like that. I mean come on guys, man up and just play if you want to play. EDIT: I just logged on and there are plenty of sparrers in the main room, and 8 in queue. When can I log on to see how spar is dead?? |
