Whatever. I'm done debating. Just keep in mind that until its tried and proven, any method can work. It makes sense to make shotguns like real shotguns. The farther away you are from the shooter, the less damage it will do. Closer: more. And those bullets shouldn't travel too far before disappearing completely. The pbp should go back to 6 clip, do 4 damage per bullet and its ROF should be nerfed more than it has been (if any, I don't see it). The shotgun distances should be taken into account and the reload should take its full time, instead of you hitting reload and being able to move mid gani and dodge. These little details matter, so don't go nerfing something without thinking it through. Plenty of players are disappointed by the changes. These are my final thoughts. Take it or leave it. GhettoIcedTea, you can have your opinions and post all you like now. I'm not responding if you try to disagree. I might as well unsubscribe to this thread. Bye now. |

If you're going to nerf the more expensive, powerful guns, then at least offer some sort of partial refund (say, 75% of what you paid), as it seems a little unfair to diminish the capabilities of a gun that you paid $70+ for (i.e. BAR), doesn't it? I think something like that would deter people from buying, spending money to promote your game, in the future, or at least it would for me. It'd be like paying for internet service, then having it get progressively slower the longer you own it. If you ask me, it's unprofessional; people should get what they paid for. That said, find a new way to balance the weapons, but still keep some distinction. Hard, yeah, but it's better than lowering the quality of something someone paid good money, like 1/3 the cost of an iPod touch, for without so much as offering a partial refund, or some sort of trade in option. Anyway, if you're gonna nerf something like the BAR, don't expect me to spend another dime on your game. The other kiddies might, but not me. I'll just go spend my **** elsewhere, which is probably for the best anyway. Kthx. Honestly, I don't expect anything to change, but it's nice to hold onto hope, as Era's always been that way; new weapons come out, the old ones get nerfed, and, in the end, the new weapons are never much more powerful than the old ones used to be. It's just a never-ending, money-driven cycle to feed the coffers of whoever owns the game. All you're really paying for is the skin, sound effects, and occasional animation/added feature that comes with the gun. I'm sure someone will have a differing opinion, but that's just it, an opinion, which we're all entitled to, so think what you will. I'm out. Whether or not the admins are talking about nerfing anything, I don't know, as I didn't read anyone else's posts. XD, I just saw the title and thought I'd spew a little verbal diarrhea about it; I'm sure it's just some kid whining about the guns 'cause he can't afford them, but whatever. G'bye now!
