Minecraft 1.8
So, Minecraft 1.8 was released today (unofficially)  ! You can download it if you haven't yet at www.minecraftforums.net. Note, you have to have bought Minecraft already to use it.

This is a pre-release of the 1.8 beta? x_x I think I will just wait for the normal 1.8 release.

Runs like crap, sadly. It seems like I'm rarely getting 60fps, when I used to get almost 200fps before. There are always hiccups and stuttering, making sprinting quite useless since I can't seem to use it with any accuracy(touching a wall even slightly cancels your sprint). So every time I try to jump up a block the game stutters and I hit it, cancelling my sprint.

dont complain about bugs, notch didnt release it officially for a reason, its not finished, but since someone betrayed mojang and leaked the update before all the stuff was fixed, well thats why it has the bugs. personally i rather wait for the official update, when its finished, i feel like judging a leaked unfinished version of a game is like publishing a book before its been edited and fixed up, or taking and showing a painting before the artist is finished.
