what do you guys expect
hello guys. so i am still learning how to be a good LAT. and i decided to work on a level. this level will be slowly done and want to make sure its done well, i will later on post some images of it for all you pro's to judge it. before i get to work i need to ask you guys (viewers) on what do you guys expect on a well done level. if you guys can just leave a comment or a quote, that would be great. it will also help if you can add some pointers while i am doing this anyway thank you very much ![]()

no errors(misplaced tiles and stuff) original style and relevant of the servers theme(goes along with other levels on the server as well as fits the theme. don't try to copy off another server Do not try to make things that aren't meant to be out of tiles, use an image. For example dont try to make a "rainbow tree" by combining tiles of the 3 different colored trees many people complain that levels are too simple but sometime its the style and I see nothing wrong with it. The cluttery UN style is annoying IMO |

one thing i've learned from making levels in the past is do not be very symmetrical. It's okay but when over used becomes repetitive.

I haven't invested enough time into levels to call myself any means "expereinced" but I know you want to make sure you go real slow on everything until you know how everything looks and works perfectly. Go really slow (Same with graphics and gani's) and even your 2nd or 3rd piece could become a masterpiece. Then, once you have perfected your levels by going very slow you will naturally get faster and smoother with it. Heres how i like levels to look- Not too much variation Not too little variation A POINT to the level Size correctly. Dont make a small tiny building on the outside have a giant inside. |

Add alot of details in your levels, like put flowers and things like that on the grass tiles. The tiles should fit to eachother (dont put lava next to a bush). Also build things (walls, fences, etc) not in a line but more randomly and abstractly.Alot of people like that. It should still look right, though^^
