Has farming been altered? Are there limits on how much you can generate?

I have had a few players tell me that gralat drops stop, never encountered it myself but I would love to know if there are limits, if the drop rates been tweaked

Seeking good info to dispel all the misinformation around

I was farming in my guild house and I do notice that gralats stopped spawning when I reached around 2-3k gralats. It's not permanent though. It starts spawning again in the next day

I'd heard that, as well. Is the spawn rate different as well?
