This is kinda strange. Obviously done on purpose, curious to see what happens.

Usually I'm not a fan with no explanation for events but it just feels right with this one. Things slowly breaking without word from anyone is just so fun and mysterious. Things got worse two days after the glitchy key baddies appeared so maybe every two days something new will happen up until the new year? Who knows.

The visual glitches and other bugs have become sentient.. they're going to overrun graal and on new year's eve, at 12am... they'll corrupt graal and make it unplayable unless you have the key

Checking this out myself now.

EDIT: 20 minutes later, nothing so far. Not even a sighting of one dropping to the ground. Going to go for another 20 and if I don't get one then I guess it's proven you can still only get 1.
EDIT 2: 40 minutes have past and still nothing. You can still only collect one key so don't bother wasting your time.

I asked them about it and they said they didn't even confirm if it was true or not because they're a friend and apparently you should believe everything someone says if they're your friend. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I hope we just need one key for whatever it is. I don't wanna to grind like crazy just like the Carnival quest. Btw, is there something new yet about this event?

Edit: what if the key will be used to enter glitched world :o

Yeah I know but I just had to confirm it and all that. Didn't have to waste 40 minutes on it but I had nothing better to do that late at night.

Yeah her friend lied and she believed it then started spreading that info around to people who answered her question. She got mad at me for spreading misinformation because of my obviously a joke edited image on the first page.

I've been killing these worms for like 30 minutes and haven't gotten a single key. How often do they drop?
