I noticed the decreased loot prices. You have to wonder how many gralat pack sales they'll get out of things like that. You'll maybe make like a couple hundred gralats fewer off 200 loot sold than you used to, which I don't think will really make anyone want to buy a gralat pack. Especially if they're a player that's actually willing to collect 200 loot; gralat packs are for lazy people.

It's not 'bad' to make counter intuitive changes to the existing framework... but it's nearsighted. The community at large is like a garden. If you know anything about farming, you will understand that growing many small plants in rapid succession only gets you so far, while letting plants go through a longer life cycle and eventually to seed will get you more benefit over time. Confusing analogy? If you get a bunch of players to sign up and don't give them something to come back for in the long term, interest in the game will die off over time. If you provide an engaging play experience with breadth and depth and allow for a multitude of heuristics to be applied, players will come back again and again. In fact, players will tell non-players to pick the game up. That's word of mouth advertising. It will happen if you have a good product (hey this game is so cool check it out) or if you have a bad one (I can't believe you still play that crappy skinner box).

![]() look at it this way castle furniture made it easier for people to farm, which was probably not their intention, since I believe it was for player-hosted minigames/mazes. If the gralat spawn rate dropped, then it's to balance it. Doesn't matter if you think it's a balance, or a nerf. big city or volcano island (idk what it's called anymore), and destiny were added. These areas have a higher spawn rate for looting/diving ¿bubbles?, especially when you don't idle. The amount of loot you can hold was then changed. bug catching, I'm not an expert, but from what I remember, people were catching a large amount (especially bees from the bushes at Destiny). Then they changed things. whenever they add new ways to gain money, it's pretty much a testing phase, and players can find methods to gain larger amounts than what toonslab intended. Resulting in these changes. No f2p game is going to warn you about changes like these. Making the same thread over and over, complaining about not being warned isn't going to solve anything If you don't like it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ |

Bees seem extra rare nowadays. Even when I do see a bee after throwing a bush, I simply can't catch it since its frames and overall movement are skipping and lagging. Not worth my time, I bet they lowered the price down to 40g's like every other rare bug.

It doesn't though... they just think it does. Refunding uploads or furniture for half price means that player has lost value for nothing in-game. Spend 10k on an upload, then refund it and you're left with 5k, no upload. Seems pretty clear. Conversely, in a system where the value of a refund is reduced further, fewer people will pay for uploads because of the inability to refund them. This will, in time, lead to fewer packs purchased in order to acquire uploads. Uploads. |

sure they take money, but they could think that they’re losing out on potential profits too |

Honestly with all these changes that are clearly there to milk money from players, I'm surprised they haven't put a thing up saying "Are you there" when looting or baddy killing. Or making gralat drops extremely rare in open world. (watch as I say This and they will do it to increase profits) |

There's nothing wrong with profit. There's nothing wrong with tweaking systems to make a game more profitable if that's what they're aiming for. BUT There's a balance between entertainment value, reward structures, and monetization that needs to be carefully considered, and if this is to be changed, players who are invested in the current structure should be given ample notice so as to not have negative reaction. |

Do not quote me. I am no longer part of this discussion
https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_c...&v=TNRzsNvrXbE Read the comments for that Not Entirely. I'm only a paid player because I support the development of the game, Which seems to have stopped. So In turn, I'm not a paid player any longer until I see a drastic addition that doesn't take Volunteer Staff YEARS.
