im just asking for the old towering model to make a return and that shouldnt take too long to implement, something is better than nothing at all right?

We can keep banging on about staff not being paid but if you know you're not getting paid then why the hell are you being staff in the first place.

FP4 was found dead in an asian market and Dusty has been missing in action. The hype for the new guild system is dead and its never going to be released you can see examples of unfinished content ingame (zorbi waterfall since 2012 xd) that have just been dumped there. If you have been playing classic for a long time you already know this.

Towers are useless they're filled with brazilians with nobody to challenge them except the solo pker. We have had towering rewards removed and our amount of guilds we can join reduced to 5. Towering was a huge part of classic and its an all time low we have known about the NGS for what 2 or 3 years now? Why cant we have towering rewards back while we wait?

Towering forged great friendships and great memories, classic has always been good at being a social game.

Honestly. They do need SOMETHING to compensate for the lost of towering rewards.

I don't even tower. And I can see myself that towering has completely died.

What I would do is simply revise the towering system. By doing this.

1. Make rewards. Doesn't have to be hats, can be cool effects or a gani that changes twice every year.
2. Develop a system where only members with X (Preferably 600 hours or so) amount of hours can recieve the reward. Stops people from kicking out members and putting in friends to get rewards because they also will need to work heavily for it. Also would make players not use noobs as badly or harshly. (and make it here even if you get these amount of hours and are kicked. You still will recieve the reward for time used. And just because it is fair). Once first 25 people got to the X amount of hours needed, rest of people can get a small participation reward. Being gralats or a small item of some kind.

3. Make the 1k hour limit into 2.2k hour limit. So it should take 3 months per reward. So only actual towerers should get their reward.

The towering system can honestly be put into all kinds of ways. The method above would have some flaws. But generally speaking. There is many different ways towering can Infact be brought back. Which it needs to be.

I'm an advocate for bringing back 5k hats.
It's become clear that most towerers need incentive in the form of an exclusive item to do their thing.

Towering is more fun the longer it takes. I feel more like a member and I form stronger friendships & memories if I'm towering with a group for a year+ rather than a few months. The loop around being that reaching 5k hours takes a lot longer than 1k (obviously).

I don’t think 1k hats should come back. It wouldn’t be towering anymore because the same people/guilds hoard the towers and It’s not even fun anymore. It’s why they were removed in the first place. It will just become a hat sport again. I do agree that the state of towering at the moment is dead, but 1k’s aren’t the solution. They are too easy to get and an alternative reward system would be better. A much more difficult way to get them.
