To be honest, before the full version of Minecraft: there were really awesome mods. Hundreds of them aswell Now in the full version (correct me if im wrong): The game is incompatible with most mods. There has been a few that are compatible with the full version |

Rei's Minimap. I like mod's that add nice features but don't give you an advantage over other players. (xray, flying, item spawners)

ManySmallTweaks is nice, it lets you have floating ladders, netherrack ignite from redstone, %pig with saddles and %colored sheep, and a lot more tiny tweaks. See my post on the Bukkit plugin thread. http://www.graalians.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4846
