It's been in the works for a while now with the original deadline being missed by nearly a year. Honestly just wondering if this is still something that they intend to add to the game. It would be nice if fp4 and Dusty could update us on their progress with this every now and then, or at least tell us that it isn't going to happen.

Pretty true lmao, Towerings probably gonna stay dead sadly, And those who do find interest in sparring 90% of them you question how old they are and why they cause so much drama and act so immature. I also wonder who even BKs  

Guys its already out... Have you not seen all the brazilian guilds with their guild items and flashy hats?

The game isn't dead. It has a community of people who do several activities, while it is true that some aspects are outdated and that people lost or is losing interest on them, it doesn't mean the game as a whole is dead. The number of players (be it brazilians, roleplayers, house designers or "competitive" players) is growing constantly with the parts of the game with active staff are getting updated constantly (hats, furniture items, accesories) if anything, while it is true that the coding devs aren't active, the "competitive" community is as salty and pesimistic as they come over the little that they have left.

You say the competitive community is "salty", but I'd say they're perfectly justified in being upset over the fact that the devs took away the only competitive reward system that the game had for towering, promising to replace it with a new and better system and getting the hopes of the entire community up that the game just might be rejuvenated in some way, only to have those hopes crushed and being left with no reward system at all, and for the most part left in the dark with no answers or comments from the devs. To call it being "salty" is to undermine people's legitimate grievances over the issue.

In my opinion, It isn't so much they are salty because there isn't a tower reward, It's just...they are salty no matter what, In towering if you lost your tower you got "LOL YOUR TEAM SUCKS AT TOWER TROLOLOL QUIT" If you took their tower you got a " LOL YOUR TEAM SUCKS AT TOWER NOOBS" The worst part is they don't even know who the hell the other people are most the time.

Spar is the exact same way, although in my opinion Spar is just filled with more immature people who would look at a new sparrer, who may even have a 13-40 spar score and will make fun of them for it instead of actually helping them because they feel they are "Too good" or "shouldn't have to " help new players. In graal sparring specifically it's like we got a crap ton of narcissistic people.
But I do feel they should do something with towering. Make it alive again.

Almost as if there was no competitive aspect at all now!
Wait... there's more hats. Everywhere you look!
In fact, if you get started now maybe you can draw a hat and enter it in the annual christmas competition.

This just in... towering and sparring ruined because... lack of hats. No longer competitive because... lack of hats. Those complaining are impatient and were only in the tower for the hats.
