Auctioning system
I know that in the past classic has rejected the idea of a trade system but what about a auctioning system :? The idea would be to allow players to sell their unwanted mounts, hats, furniture, etc. to other players :3 Players could view a item for auction and make a bid. If the seller likes the price then the item is sold. An to prevent scamming their would be a 1 hour return policy for buyers to return the object and get a full refund. There wouldn't be a return policy for sellers because if your selling an item you can't buy ever again I seriously doubt you'd miss it. Plus an incentive to the owners of classic, would likely see a increase in the purchase of gralats. Because this would allow newbie's with money to buy cool stuff and people like me to save up to splurge on a cool hat or mount :3 |

In this way players can give gralats to each other by placing a very high price of gralats for an item/hat/...in the purpose of giving them gralats. It's not a bad idea but, there is just too many negatives that are not worth the advantage of this system.

This is basically trading but without getting to choose what people you sell your stuff too. This obviously won't ever happen since it's still a form of trading and it shouldn't for other reasons aswell. Lets say someone gets acces to someones elses account wether by them letting them on or being hacked, the person could just auction all your stuff and at that point there's no way to put the items back on the original account. |

I like the idea, Generally speaking I think graal should have such a feature anyway so you can obtain items you like but can never get anymore. For instance I literally have about maybe 2-3 pages of hats full of stuff I will never use again for as long as I live, And since I got a 2p mount I never use regular mounts again even though I got like 10ish. So if I could hand it over to a player that needs it I'd have no problem with it at all. Plus I think this would be a great concept in making gralats and can open up more kinds of ideas and so on. Graal Zone and Era ( I think Era) have a trading system and players somewhat learn the overall price of what each item Is worth. So to me, No reason classic couldn't do the same. |

I never understood the desire to trade items on Graal. I see items as a sort of history of your account, they show how long you've played, which guilds you were in, which events you won, which holiday events or nexus/rev openings you were around for, etc (they're even listen chronologically in your inventory, forming a timeline). The concept of trading these items is just wrong to me, if you're a new player, you shouldn't have old items, if you didn't tower with any guilds or win any gsts, then you shouldn't have any of the hats. The permanence of the player's inventory just feels like a very integral part of the game that makes it what it is. And that frustration you feel when there's some cool item that you can never own, it's just part of the game. I'm sure some people will get what I'm saying here.

But I understand that scammers will always find a way to scam :/ So I guess something like this would probably never happen :/ |

Would open too much room for trading as you could simply place very low gralats on items you wanna trade with each other. Would open too much room for scamming such as maybe telling a newish player that some items are rare and old and make them pay a lot of money for them when infact it might not be the case. It would ruin the collectors aspect for the people who have been collections and looking at their old items , would take away the nostalgic feeling to them.. The list goes on on why this would be far worse idea than good |

How about scheduled auctioning times so that a GP or someone can supervise it to help prevent scamming. (that's one problem with the trade tables on the other games because scamming goes on there all the time, and the staff can't and won't do anything about it.) |
