I made a somewhat original house, no codes, no bushwalk people barely entered, even less liked it. So i closed it to friends only. 4-lom has been in there >0>

But, if you think about it, people are only there to: appreciate it for 10mins or less and never come back, hangout, or look for some "rare" codes to dress their avatars.

So there really isn't much incentives to staying in someone else's house, if it is just all design. Very similar to how the new updates like Castle is hyped for a few seconds then die down.

I think I had mentioned it at the outset as a foreseeable issue.
Some things to consider might be

• limiting the number of houses a player can like in a day
• making it a 'rating' system instead of a 'like' system with a leaderboard
• removing shield/sword graphics as displayable in furniture pieces
• only allowing VIP members to register on the leaderboard (or take part in the 'like' system)
• add the word "House" to the swear filter (lol)
• re-instate the annoying idle warp, but to extremely distant locations
• remove the ability to lock down bushes

Oh no it wasn't. Sorry if it seemed that way. I can understand why some people might've been upset about it, so it's fine lol.

On a side note since I guess this is a relevant topic to this thread:
I finished one of my music rooms Room 4 (top left) is The Entertainer. Had to shorten the song a bit because apparently there's a furniture limit per level, but it worked out ok. Also I guess the amount of NPCs can drop some people's frame rate a bit on Android which sucks (I have Android...) but should be fine on every other device. Enjoy!  

I feel like making gralats unable to spawn on bushes would fix the problem. For gralats that are already on the bushes, you could probably have them be automatically added to the player's account, but this would probably make a lot of people mad.

Even if the system is changed to a rating system I don't think it will change much. The leaderboard is really centered around how often the house is seen. Players that advertise their houses more will still be ranked in the top.  

I like the idea of removing shield and sword codes altogether. Make them as accessory items.  

A dislike button will even it all out.

There could be an issue, or at least some kind of community backlash if codes were completely stripped from the game, given that you now have to pay to upload shields and swords, a lot of people would want some kind of refund for their gralats  

Well, one way to get it done is by accepting the fact that codes were placed back when Graal was new. Now, Graal has changed and is going thru some major updates. Shields and swords can still be bought/created but just added to your player inventory very much like how the accessories work. Eliminating the need to have codes from here on. This is the Graal now and players just need to deal with it.

Wish it were that easy.

I think just removing the sword/shield graphics from being displayed in game would solve 90% of the codeshop plague.

Also, in reference to coco's house, the railroad track is a lot more functional for the automated music tile design process... railroads are larger, meaning you can fit more into an area (and not have to cut off the end of a song).

Would much rather have codes go private or some other type as opposed to accessories... But that's just me.  

Well what could they do here? I do like me some good swords or shields every so often but there are hundreds, if not thousands of different swords and shields.

I think it would make a lot of people angry if they suddenly lost their favorite sword/shield, let alone have to buy new skins for their sword. Eh, they can deal with it.

I don't think there will be any easy way to recreate every sword into an accessory, unless devs completely bust their asses trying, or have an accessory event for people to make awesome swords/shields.
