There are also 2 new islands at Big City that contain snakes, they aren't displayed on the map (yet?) though

The maps have not been updated since the snowtown slide was removed...

Have new areas been made for black blobs and spiders yet?

Not that i know of...if it has then its probably in the railroad caves.  

GIANT NEW AREA JUST ABOVE THE MAP:

Get to it via MoD, Onnet forest, and straight above graal city.









The boat only goes to Big City.









The rocks in the cave wont be blown up by a bomb.  

Big City Caldera seems to have experienced some recent volcanic activity.

Seriously? Complaining? Difficult to be little thankful? It's not just spaces. This is an expansion and a much needed one to go along with the current update. I for one would rather have this than to see more players complaining about having their baddie kills stolen.

Also, I'm looking forward to the new bandit and cave blob areas. Maybe when bats and crabs are re-added they can get some new areas too.

Depending on how in-demand the Lizardon's are for bounties it may be expanded even more. However most of the new baddy area aren't exactly overrun with players.

Hm, yeah their kind of nice and calm I like it that way.  

This is really cool. Is there any story at the lizardons known for having invaded Destiny being in the big city volcano caves? Whatever possible backstory it's nice to have more areas to kill them for the bounty quest  

Legend says the Lizardons are from an ancient old civilization that used to live near volcano's.
They say the reason for that was their resistance to heat so as being the only known heat resistant lifeforms in this world they lived there to keep enemies away.

It wasn't until the humans started advancing and took over the areas near volcano's to use the vulcanic soil to grow their crops as it has a lot of minerals which greatly benefits plantlife.
A lot of Lizardons lost their lives to these advanced humans and some fled.

Until recently recently the only knowledge of their existance we had came from drawings and stories we found on a new island that was discovered.
Because they made a return we do know a bit more about them though.
Thy seem to have missed out on a lot of what happened in the outside world and are therefore still aggressive to other lifeforms.
It does seem like the stories we heard about were through though as they still prefer to stay near volcanic areas when possible.
