The big blob spawns from killing a large one. You have to clear the small ones in order to make more 'mid sized' ones appear... but I find that the count is from the mid sized ones.

And, as to bandit captain, fight bandits for 5-10 minutes and you should see one or more.

nope not a glitch. fire blob actually spawns, but its pretty rare... and sometimes appears off map.

It was very cool to see but then I stumbled into a man diguised as a crab. I swear I hit the crab and a guy popped out

I have encountered the fire blob. Then some person tried extinguishing it with a water pot.

It was pretty hard to kill but it dropped a gold gralat.

This is simply the default character graphic for all npcs... the red noobie. It used to appear at christmas too, when you sat on your horse and slashed a present.

Must suck being the one creating the giant blob bc then a whole mob comes at you and you barely get to hit the blob
