Trump: What He'll Do
YES! It's another political thread. Just giving my opinion of what Trump will actually do (or try to do) as President. Most of my opinion is based onthings Trump has said in the past (even if it contradicts what he has said recently). A lot of these issues Trump has commented on aren't necessarily in his control, and even with a Republican-controlled Congress, there's still a separation between Trump and much of the establishment that will probably prevent/hinder a lot of the ideas Trump has spoken about. Trump has also released a 100 Day Plan that you can read and decide for yourself about Trump the President, rather than Trump the candidate. https://assets.donaldjtrump.com/_lan...ontractv02.pdf The Wall, and will Mexico pay for it? Will we build a wall? No. I highly doubt it. He very well might have more people securing the border, but there won't be a physical wall. Will Mexico pay for it if the wall is actually made? Yes and no, but through trade deals that he plans on changing anyways. It won't be immediate, but over time it would eventually pay for the wall. Maintence of that wall is another story. Obama Care Will they replace Obama Care? Probably. That's really up to the Republican-controlled House, but Trump would approve of any change to health care submitted to him. Taxes Will taxes change the way he detailed? Probably not. There might be tax cuts to a degree, but most likely no where near what Trump detailed. Once again, it's mostly up to Congress to decide that. Immigration Will America undergo mass deportation? No. Trump even changed that policy during the general election and said he would only deport criminal immigrants. Will sanctuary cities have federal funding removed? Probably. Or at least, decreased. Trade Deals Will they be changed? Probably. I doubt we will pull out of deals like he said he would, but there's a good possibility that they will be changed at the very least - with the threat of nullifying them if they aren't changed.

Obama is trying to push TPP before he's out of office, hopefully Trump prevents it, that'll be a major hit to the economy and something no one should support. Canada is going to step in and help renegotiate NAFTA with Trump's team, which is something that can heavily be improved upon and extremely beneficial to Canada and America's economy. (it's already in the works) Trudeau and Trump reiterated the importance of the Canada-United States bilateral relationship and discussed various areas of mutual interest, Trump will visit Canada and Trudeau will visit U.S as well for further discussion. As a Canadian, Trump is a far better candidate than Hillary and he'll be more beneficial for my country which is one of the main reasons I supported him. He's not even in office yet and has made more progress with Russia and China than Obama did in 8 years. |

Cancelling all payments to climate change programs? Lifting energy restrictions? Beyond a joke. |

Trump changed his stance on Obamacare and wish to keep it but have it undergo major provisions.

So I've heard from others that Russia was very happy with Trump winning the election, and that he's willing to re connect with America, but I'm not sure and haven't heard as to why... What're the reasons for Putin to suddenly want to reconnect the America because of Trump? |
