I feel bad for these Trump haters, especially the LGBTQ community.

Brainwashed into hating him and fearing for their rights and safety when Trump has 100% supported them his whole campaign.

Trump has literally said he wants to bring back "traditional" marriage and his VP has supported conversion therapy. I'd say their fears are justified, how have they been brainwashed?  

Obama and Clinton said to be open minded and give him a chance to lead even if you disagree with the results. These riots are getting out of hand, hopefully it dies out by next month. People got places to work, study, and other things to do. Don't delay that for us.  

Trump won and there's nothing that will change that, I don't get it why people who didn't vote (well some of them..) are debating even though they weren't involved in the voting process.

Glad Trump won though it would be better rather than having a Criminal being our president, Though I have given a few thoughts that Trump might be even a good president he might just think this is all a monopoly and all a business then he would probably run America the same way as he did with his business but better.

Give Trump a chance, I mean, We haven't seen him doing anything bad yet at least while being president I mean, Also the riot that's happening would just lead people to being sent to jail or even in worst case scenarios policemens are starting to kill people who riot/rebel against his presidency since he nees protection, This is like a Ferdinand Marcos Situation maybe where he would look like a bad guy but in the end would make the country strive.. But after being replaced with a Cory Aquino the country started to fall even though everything looks better but not really.

I mean seriously he's a businessman he knows what will make the country strive even though he has an immature attitude, He will change for the good of the people while making people independent rather than being dependent to the government.  

Hillary Clinton is actually winning the popular vote right now. More people voted for her than did Trump. Some protestors are protesting the system, but I wish all of them were protesting the system, rather than Trump. The electoral college is garbage.

Honestly the country was so divided so passionately this election that there would have been protesting regardless of who won. If people are going to riot over stupid **** like sports I think it's perfectly reasonable for there to be peaceful protesting over the elections(obviously rioting is never okay).  

so ****ing immature. trump wins? lets make california its own state, not our president.

Well I mean Trump himself said he wouldn't accept the results if Hillary won so there's no doubt people would have protested either way. I don't think there's much use in it though, the people voted and I think it's an important part of a democracy to accept the result.

If people were protest against something like his ideas, say for example his ludicrous attitude towards climate change, I could get behind it as it could bring about real change (although I doubt Trump would care).  

All I have to say is, thanks GST result threads for preparing me for this election.
