Creator Ondrej Tokar hasn't received any confirmed legal nastygrams (whether from publishers or Warner Bros.) and has taken steps to distance Maguss from the world of Hogwarts, but there's no certainty that the lawyers will stay away.

I honestly think this is pretty cool. Hope it doesn't end up like Pokemon Go tho.  

Why would anyone pay to play a game like this in a beta lol
It's a game that won't be as big as pokemon go so it's probably gonna die out really quick if it even releases at all
