This is really cool. How about:

• Green: In a base
• Red: Online but not in a base
• Grey: Offline

-This sounds great and i suggest that this would be located maybe in the players profile or have it placed in the gang list like between the head and the name.
-Another location would be at the gang chat where whenever someone talks instead of showing just a green flashing pm bubble it would show either red or green.
