The open beta released. Anyone have it and is playing it? It's my first time playing a Battlefield game since I've been playing COD before, so it definitely is taking getting use to, but overall I think I like it a lot more than COD. What's your thoughts?  

It sucks and gives you the feel of playing battlefront. 5/10.

Oh and if you are planning to stick with battlefield, please don't start attempting to quickscope.  

More skill is required to play this compared to the previous games tbh  

I find myself using my handgun more than anything. That's somthing that if you did that in COD, you'd never get a kill. Only issue I have is when people climb the mountains in the Sinai Desert map and snipe from there. The flags near the mountains are wide open so that seems pretty unfair, otherwise snipers don't seem OP.

I enjoy the game but not the map they gave us. It's literally either no man's land or a big clusterf*** (point C). Tanks are also way too OP. Seen people on Twitch just in the middle of the desert picking people left and right. What even more annoying is that they can self-repair themself. Since there's no Engineer class, Assault now uses SMGs and have dynamite with a very small throw distance and aa grenades for tanks. Hard to do though. One thing is no one ever revives you, heal you, or give you ammo when needed. Even if you request it, they run off like what? It's a reason why you're a Medic/Support. Game just feels like a blend of BF:HL/BF and I'm honestly not bothered by that. Still a good Battlefield game that just need tweaks. And..hopefully one more beta map.

When I was playing, I started calling the desert area, no man's land. If I'm doing bad, usually I'll switch to Scout class and just run around the desert sniping people. I don't know half of what's going on right now, but I thought it was just because I haven't played BF before. I don't understand the spawns sometimes. I usually just avoid tanks. I do also agree that no one revives you or anything like that.  

Scout is insanely OP and IMO the only class worth playing. Other than that though it's okay, 7.5/10.

I mean I feel like the map is built so that scout is the best class depending on where you attack/defend. If you go in the town, then scout pretty much sucks.

Depends what gun you use. One of the scout guns you can get (One with iron sights.) is far better at close quarters.  

I take my comment back. The first 2 days when people were playing multiple classes, scout was fine. Now everyone's using scout and I see that it's OP as hell now. Completely different experience today than it was the past 2 days.  

PSA: they unlocked all weapons and gadgets for everyone to use, so if you wanna try out some other stuff you have like a day or less to do so  

Need more anti-tank options aside from the Artillery class (the AR class iirc)
Otherwise I loved the beta, definitely planning on buying if the reviews are good.
I love Battlefield because it gives you the sense that you're actually fighting in a large scale battle/war. Not the mindless spawn, run and gun, die and repeat of other shooters.  

I think they need to have 1 vehicle at the start of the match and over time unlock more. Really kinda sucks having 6 tanks on the map at once.
