Don't just get rid of jail, use both systems, jail the high offenses like hacking and ban the lower stuff like cussing. Using just one system isn't gonna work due to either being jailed for something minor or only getting a measly ban for major things. Also, make a written set of punishments for certain offenses so people who only deserve a ban don't get jailed. This isn't supposed to be for anyones benefit, people need to be punished according to how bad their crime is, giving minor punishements for major things won't help anyone and vice versa  

Well, it's their fault why they got banned. Did something wrong? You pay the price. I know this is a game but you need to learn that. With the ban system, offenders would just keep doing stuff over and over.

It's better to keep the jail system. Instead of adding the old one back, maybe just lower the time needed to mine 1 rock.

Jail is much better than getting banned, from a players point of view, because when you get banned for lets say 2 months, they can just go onto another account and play and wait the 2 months.
However if you get jailed, you have to actaully mine the rocks, yes you can evade the jail but you wont get your account back like if you are banned.
When tash implimented the jail system, my god i loved him for that, it doesnt ruin my fun of graal as hackers or players who have done bad things cant play really, if they evade a ban they can still hack, swear, inappropriate behaviour, whatever they done can still be done on a noob acccount.
Please dont remove this jail system, mining rocks is more of a deterrent than banning someone


Also if they get jailed, for hacking or something, and then they get lots of rocks to mine, they might not want to mine, meaning they might just abandon pkaying graal as a whole, meaning one less horrible person to deal with.

I would +rep for funniest thing I heard today, but I won't because I think you're actually serious. Hacking isn't allowed. So if you want to test hacks out, then that sucks for you when you get jailed. Testing a hack is still hacking.  

Testing out hacks for a whole year sure is fun. It is just testing, right? Right?

Holy crap. 5 pages in 11 hours? I'll read this all later but on mobile and I CBA.

Someones already said this probably, but I find it ridiculous how players don't get proof of what they've done. We have logs right? Send them to the player. Or even within reasonable suspicion, we should be thoroughly explainer why they believe that we had done something wrong.

Amer was recently banned because they caught him bugging out. Knowing "[he has] a hacking record" they jailed him. Like wot? Where's the proof in that?

Even just giving the player actual reasoning and proof would also make tickets much easier to justify and send out.
