i was gonna name Klay, but i think he only qualify as sparrer to towerer category and didn't make a significant impact on towering community though he was the leader of (ie) or something.  

Well, all in all deaths in players stats would still be dope, it wouldnt offend anyone if they"d make them hideable, it"d be just a nice addition for pkers.

On behalf of all the more sensitive and 100AP people who do not pk, I believe such a feature may result in much negativity, especially towards the people striving to become better; more deaths than kills will result in major self esteem issues.

You know how newer sparrers get when they can't win a spar, very depressing, Indeed.

If implemented there will most likely be an option to hide deaths. Surely some people will be proud of their pk/d ratio, but many others may not, if not care.

Cmon why are y'all so sensitive about this topic? I mean if your spar stats are trash you try erverything to get it positive or at least Better, I'm missing the competetion..  

Reasons this is good.

1. Public K-D ratios for us competitive pk folk.
2. Another way to compare ourselves to our peers.

Reasons this is bad.

1. Deaths are gained in every activity combat and are not special to pk.
2. Many people would be negative, and the result could be people being called noobs or whatever.
3. Those who arrow + mobbed in the past will have a massively inflated ratio, unreflective of their skill level.
4. This is a personal reason. Over the last two weeks or so, I've been Pking Illusive. They suicide more than anyone(not that that's a bad thing, again I don't care). But that does cause me to gain more deaths because of it, without gaining kills as effectively. Whereas if the had left mod and pked, say, ZigZag I probably could post a 4-1 K-D ratio over the same time period(against illusive I was roughly 2-1).
Basically, I don't want pk to become "pk the noob guild" because of K-D ratios. People would avoid Pking people like illusive, because they want their ratio to look good. And for guilds who don't have access to 5-star members, they'll get pked even more often than now because, again, people Want to inflate their ratio.

I personally don't care if it comes to fruition or not. But given the option to hide my deaths, I still would, because ultimately I gain nothing by showing them.

Because one gets better by hiding their deaths and pretending they're better, when they're actually not.

Honestly this is a suggestion in which player input doesn't matter. Players will mostly want to hide their stats because it may benefit them, but I think it's a valuable statistic and should be shown on player profiles. Also hiding statistics is lame. Hiding gralats is fine, but pks/spar/hours should not be hidden. People need to get over trying to appear good, and actually get good. If you can't win a spar, then practice more. If you suck at PKing, then practice more. It's not like PK deaths or even kills are a defining statistic. Everyone knows you get tons of kills when you (used to be able to) arrow spam the hell out of big crowds, for example, at the giant blob spawn. And if you were hitting the blob, you would also die a hell of a lot of times.

If you really want to show your deaths in your profile, just do it. There's already a command that gives you that information, so just update your status every once in awhile with your death count. Otherwise I kinda agree with Areo on this one.

I'm referring to the fact that you haven't posted a single original idea since 2012, yet have become passive aggressive and jealous about other people getting their ideas implemented. Since you are constantly saying that guild forts were changed to suit sparrers...where is your thread on the actual topic? Where are your ideas for guild forts, etc? "Why isn't there a room in that one cave in Swamp Town yet?" contributes nothing to that discussion, nor are any of these ideas in that thread from you.

ZzFatal what rufus is trying to say is, all you do is complain about things instead of coming up with a GOOD idea that ACTUALLY makes sense, which you don't do.

The reason ideas that are implemented often come from "sparrers" is because the whole "spar" community is made up of players who have DONE everything on graal for years (PK,events, Spar, Farm, Quests). Obviously there are smart players who DONT spar, but the spar community just so happens to have a huge population of EXPERIENCED graal players.

The answer is obvious, its either don't change anything. Or give people the ability to show/hide their deaths.
When it comes to Hiding EVERYTHING. NO.
players should be able to hide:
-Hours
-Deaths
(Hours isn't a meaningful statistic when you can AFK, Deaths isnt a meaningful statistic when you get deaths in Guild houses and Spar rooms when you DONT get kills in spar rooms/Guild houses)
When it comes to spars, There would be less BULL**** "2nd accounts" created (s/o to primel) if you could RESET spars.
People argue you should be able to hide Spars and PKs, maybe, but i don't see that as necessary, I just think you should be able to reset ALL of your spars, ALL of your PKs/Deaths. (for a price)

There is no right or wrong answer to this, but to me what I said makes the most sense
-Option to hide DEATHS and HOURS
-Option to RESET PKs (deaths swell, but obviously you can't Reset Deaths and keep your PKs)
-Option to Reset Spars

this would actually encourage players to reset their bad statistics and try everything over again, rather then encourage them to make a whole new account (which is bad tbh, more accounts all over is really messy, everybody should use one account)

Self esteem is a personal thing, not everyone cares about it. Even privating stats, it used to get me ****ing mad when I lost. I had the idea of some ratio, like other people had, but ****ing numbers do cause problems. Perhaps there can be an experience bar/number for PK/Spar, going up which each kill and the increase depends on who you killed.

I wouldn't want deaths in my stats. I don't just pk... I baddy kill, and spar.
Deaths count from baddies, spar losses, spar ties, and guild spar. Maybe even guild house deaths count.
