Uh not at all. WwI is slow and defensive. Especially since the machine gun wasn't really compacted into an effective battle rifle until 1918 with the browning automatic and machine pistols wern't introduced until the end of the war with the mp18. WwI is very stagment and not mobile while wwII was very mobile and fast.

so basically trench warfare simulator  

If battlefield 5 goes right CoD will be damaged from it. They wont recover.

It could be like Resistance: Fall of Man. Although it was in 1951 in the game, they could add something else to make it interesting

So from what I understand this new battlefield game is set in an alternate version of WW1?

+1 for originality but we'll need to see more before we decide if this game worth the wait.
