I believe I may have heard something like this before.
But the idea, there should be a recorded number of;
1. How many people have entered your home.
2. How many people like or dislike your home.
The Like/Dislike bit could be shown in peoples statuses, so when someone enters your home, they can open something, which will enable them to choose like or dislike, they could only do this once.
These numbers/recored numbers could be displayed anywhere, within your status, within your home. Idk.  

Well I'd expect this generation to boost to look cool when they aren't **** in real life.  

Hmm sounds like something/part of that was going to be big update but probably never come now unfortunately.
