If you want to be a cop but have broken the law before and disagree with the current laws then you might as well not even become a member of the police. Their job is to literally enforce the law.

Cops can't say "I'll let you off the hook because I think that law is dumb".

That law is there to literally keep you from dying or getting hurt so if you violate it it's obviously your fault.

21 is the age (or around) when your brain is fully developed

it's dangerous to **** with an undeveloped brain. Not a bad law at all.

Ya guess what. Driving while drunk isn't only life threatening to you, but to other innocent drivers.

The laws aren't there to protect assholes who drive drunk, but more so are there to protect those who are unlucky enough to drive with someone inconsiderate for the safety of their life.

Alcohol and drugs don't care about your age. Your always in danger of overdosing and getting your brain messed up.

Fair enough, but anyone of any age could be charged for having open alcohol in a car.
