I don't know. That's not what I was arguing though. I guess the quality of a hat is in the eye of the beholder. I usually don't like the GST hats either. No doubt they look good, but I'm not a fan of the concept for most of them. The only one of the most recent ones I liked was the cobra one and one of the others that I forget... Anyways, I don't think they necessarily looked special, especially for winning a GST. I think the main issue is the idea, since I believe most people would agree that the hats are at least made well. I liked Livid's idea of some system, or even just a thread with ideas for hat ideas for the GST prizes.  

I'm guessing they're going to bring the point system, or whatever it's called lol? @fp4's statement.

No one's asking for a remake of the hat, just an edit of one piece to represent them as a whole. Don't see why you felt you needed to write up a paragraph on how an edit can turn into a remake of the hat when in reality it isn't lol.

edit: if asking for an edit is insulting to the artists, then they obviously have never done commission of the sort.

You'd be surprised.

My point was that people say that, but it won't work out that way. It might sometimes, but won't always. No GFX staff should be insulted for a minor edit, but some will eventually want major edits and remake the hat far more than should be allowed. It basically creates a whole hassle.

My point was that people say that, but it won't work out that way. It might sometimes, but won't always. No GFX staff should be insulted for a minor edit, but some will eventually want major edits and remake the hat far more than should be allowed. It basically creates a whole hassle.

That doesn't answer it much. An edit isn't much, it isn't gonna kill anyone nor change the product the artist made themselves, it's just a small request from the winners but then again I can see how big it is a deal since you've kept this going for god knows how long. You also don't understand no one is gonna go for a major edit of the hat, f outta here with that crap.

I agree with this because I feel that it is true and realistic and also you are cool and I like puppies but also I like kittens have you ever seen a double rainbow before

Can you provide quotes of you actually defending me instead of trying to harass me  

I agree somewhat with PigParty's opinion but I think he's doubting the sparring community.. since the towering community has already ruined the whole concept of what "editing" is . I don't know what other sparring teams want but from my experience with one of my team's GST hat, we only wanted the hat to be shaded a little differently from the original.

Remember when you made a thread regarding your hat recolors not being accepted and strikens were? Yep, I kept on telling striken to back off because it was unfair.

I don't mean to attack you right now, but I never said anything about you personally, but you did to me. I try to stick with my actual explanation for things, and sure, not everyone (or many people at all) agrees all the time, but it doesn't mean my reasoning is stupid or discredited.
