So I have an idea for an event to be held in relation to the fishing skill. My first idea was for there to be ice fishing in the winter (could be during Christmas time as a holiday event). The special fish you would be fishing for, called either "Winter Fish" or "Holiday Fish" depending if it is held during winter in general, or as a Christmas time event, would be used as a special currency in this events shop, full of winter/Christmas themed stuff. Similar to how the heart tokens worked for Valentines day, but no pking involved, just out-fishing the competition. Whether or not this would grant any exp, that isn't something that I feel like discussing. I'm more focused on the idea for the event. I think that having an event such as this would liven things up during the winter months.

If not my idea, perhaps someone else could come up with a suitable quest or event that can be held during the winter or Christmas time. I know that Olwest already does presents, but I was looking forward to having something similar to the zombie maze from Halloween time too.

Just thought I would put my ideas out there.  

Not everyone wants to fish besides wouldn't higher levels have an advantage on this.Personally I prefer just having a quest and maze type stuff where can earn item/s from completing + have a normal shop than getting another currency to buy stuff.

Idk. I just would like to see more events. Maybe my personal idea for one isn't that well recieved, but I do still think there should be more events/quests. If we can all agree on that I would consider this thread a success

This is like saying, "let's buff fishing"

Now this is a great idea but I don't think it would be good because not a lot of us fish, and this idea reminds me of the holiday bugs that used to roam around olwest during winter or valentines day. Also I'm pretty sure many of us want a different currency for holidays, especially since not many of us have the time to grind for the currency.

My suggestion for the holidays, just make all the items gralats and just give double exp every other day or every day or every other hour.
