Man... I go to my view joined guilds, are look at all the guilds that I'm in.
I agree with this limit, but as soon as I see all these old guilds... I just can't decide.

The only tag I use is blackout, but I have so many guilds filled with memories.

None of you should be complaining though. I thought it should have been limited to 1 guild. Devs are too soft on you guys. I understand their reasons, but really.. 10 guilds? You should be thankful they allowed more than 2-3...

Luckily nobody likes your ideas though

This is a necessary step in the right direction of making #guildlivesmatter.

The fact that some people are actually in 100+ guilds is unbelievable to me. With a limit on guilds we can focus on improving the core guild experience for everyone and make them much more meaningful than they currently are.

The only way this would work is if it was always a feature. This really sucks to implement it 7 years after release. I have guilds that are the only relation I have to very old friends from years ago so I'm in about 40 guilds.

Absolute joke to add this now.

So because poor design choices were made in the past means no one can fix the mistakes?

You must admit this is a sudden change that means a lot to some people. FP3P0's "average guild's in is 4" probably includes all those noob accounts for Xmas, people that genuinely didn't enjoy Graal as much as we do and played for like a day.

Like many people, it is hard to just leave guilds from 30+ and just leave 5/6 of them. The idea of a guild cool down sounds good. A week would make perfect sense to quell noob tower recruiting.

Pivotal step in making this game even slightly more competitive. If you guys think about it the only people who are effected by this are boosters, tag collectors and people that contribute nothing substantial to towering. Cutting out lots of cancer.

This leaves room for a:
-Spar tag
-Practice spar tag
-Tower tag
-PK tag (if you like PKing outside of towers with people)
-Throwaway tag (for fun, friends, social, etc.)

I'd consider that a throwaway tbh, it's mostly for friends and fun. Also limits the amount of families one person can join which is good because I don't think many people on this game understand the concept of a family guild anyways. Old PC family guilds have been bastardized af on iClassic.

While i think this update was necessary, i can't really be happy with it knowing that all the old and inactive guilds that I'm in will soon be deleted and everything that was done in it will be forgotten when new players start to recreate those guilds.

I like the fact that since people are in less guilds, there's a chance for more competition to arise. I mean, either that or players decide to stick with their current guilds and not join another one for as long as they live.

I see a problem for leaders of tower guilds (especially new ones). They need to be able to recruit people to subguilds, but I doubt they would just want to only be in their own guild (5 out of a total possible of 6). They were probably in other tower guilds that they would still like to have a tag to proudly show that they belonged to these other guilds. This part doesn't only apply to tower guilds though. There are some old tower/spar guilds that were great in their time, but are dead now, and some of us still remember them and those in them might want to keep their tags to show that they were there. In addition to all of this, iClassic has been around for 7-8 years and is making a change this big now all of a sudden. I think it should've been done long ago to create less damage rather than now.

I think if more people are against the limit, try and do something. Explain hoe you feel here, try and negotiate to raise the limit to 8 or 10, or try and make it so that being in allied guilds count as one. Ex: Player being in Zanza, Caelum, Helsing, and SiB = 2 guilds because the first 3 are allies.
Talk to staff (don't glue your hand to the Caps Lock), or start a riot, like the lanturn ones in Graalonline Bank (those were fun). The staff supposedly enjoys when we riot and said so in the news during the cheese hat riot. These are memorable moments that help better Graal and our experience.

I personally think it should be 5 guilds plus your own guild, not 5 guilds including your own. 5 tags to join plus one to Own. Just take your own tag out of the joined guilds section and keep it in manage guild only. that would be way better in my opinion.

Guild tags aren't everything...families used to almost exclusively be a part of your name, not a tag.

Towering is going to be absolutely dead in a few weeks from this. It was struggling before, but this just killed it. RIP
But it was the sign I needed to know that a long break is needed from graal for me.
