Election 2016
I'm surprised there isn't a thread about the US election. This thread will be about politics regarding the upcoming 2016 Election. To start off, did anyone watch the caucus? Were you surprised that Ted Cruz won the votes in Iowa, rather than the infamous Donald Trump? And how do you feel about Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton in a virtual tie with the Democrats? On top of that, the New Hampshire primaries are coming up soon. What are your predictions for those? Anything could happen, but I think with Bernie's strong performance in Iowa, he may be able to win it in New Hampshire (esp. since he's leading the polls there). Regarding the republicans, I think it'll be a win for Donald Trump. Ted Cruz won Iowa because of his strong funding, and he got the evangelical vote. However, I don't think he'll be able to pull off the same strength in Iowa. |

Caucuses in general have so many flaws in them it nearly makes me sick, but that said I'm still surprised that Cruz won Iowa. Will be interesting to see if this is a common occurrence or not with the other ones.

Man I hate the GOP right now, the candidates leading the polls are just a bunch of asshats that managed to get the media to stalk them. Actual candidates had no chance in this election, it just blows my mind people like Carson, Trump, and Cruz are leading. Real pissed Rand Paul dropped out. |

It doesnt matter what Trump was doing in Iowa, skipping the debate was a bad move.
