Free VPNs like Betternet
What're your opinions on these services? Personally, I don't trust them and think it's smart not to. For example, the free VPN "Betternet" has been widely used in my school for the past few weeks to bypass the school's filters and play games/visit sites otherwise blocked. I tried it out, it worked to connect to multiple online games' servers and browse reddit, but I deleted it shortly after out of paranoia over privacy. |

Those free VPNs are fine if you're just going to use it to bypass a schools filter on a schools PC But if you're planning on using VPNs for personal use I highly recommend paid ones as they are most trusted and have the most support If you use those free VPNs on your personal device then its safer to use itand then delete them so they don't use your traffic as a botnet |

I personally use a VPN as well, but mine is setup at home. I recommend you do the same thing, because it's free, and you're more secure. My raspberry Pi is running the VPN software. Also, if you don't have one of those, consider buying a VPS and installing a VPN on there. You should be fine.
