Here's mine:
Different sword slash animations, There should be different animations for swords like stabbing and stuff like that without having to change the sword code. And all sword animations should have the same amount of frames or the same speed to avoid unfair advantages like a certain sword animation is slow, and there shouldn't be an extra button or anything like that, It's all mapped in one button and any animation could occur randomly.

Your idea would require new templates, this would overhaul 100% of graal's current sword and shield data base.

And the idea of this section to post an develop an idea with the help of others. Please refrain from just creating shallow threads, thank you.  

Pretty sure that wouldn't request new templates but only new animations, made by a GANI Artist.

I read his suggestion as a "certain" sword would get a "certain" animation. Therefore you'd need a template that showed the frames of a sword in that frame suited to the new animation...  

some swords are slower depending on the design of the sword... if it's big and has many colour contrasts it's obviously going to take longer for it to load the animation...

I said in my original post that swords will have the same frames and speed but with just a different animation.  

I like the idea of swords being somehow further customizable. I just can't think of how it could be done. Personally, I would have preferred player-customized swords not being added to the game in the first place, and instead having shops in-game that sell custom sword skins. But obviously that's just wishful thinking.

Maybe there could be cool-looking glowing effects added to swords? (That would work over top any sword code). Think enchanted weapons from WoW to get an idea of what I'm talking about. Glows, particle effects, stuff like that. If that could be done, I think it would be cool. Just my 2 cents.

Well it would be something you could purchase, and it wouldn't be cheap (I'm thinking 10-20k per).

Different glows/effects that could be added to your sword (naturally, some would look better with some swords than with others).

I'm thinking a shop that sells these effects. Or maybe it could be added to one of the blacksmiths.

Just throwing out ideas.
