Do you tell distance by time?
for example, '15 minutes down this road' vs '10 miles down this road'

Well if you ask me, time can be kinda misleading given you're not going to be moving at a constant rate. It'd be easier just to give a rough estimate in miles/kilometers. |

I don't know how many miles it is to downtown LA, but I can almost guarantee you that it takes you 40 minutes from my city without traffic and 1:30 with traffic (give or take 10 minutes depending on the driver). IDK where you from, but in Socal using miles can be misleading if you don't take traffic and route into consideration. |

Yeah places like California is going go suck with traffic so using speed limits as proper rate isn't going to help much. Rather than just giving the distance itself, there's no need to do all the math with distance per time. Also most signs give the distance to the nearest exit or whatever so you yourself only need to mind the signs. I guess it's just a personal reference in the end. |

"The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once." - Albert Einstein Using time as a unit of distance would be contradictory of Albert Einstein's beliefs. In other words, you hate science. |
