I think the main issue with the "Belle Museum" was that submissions for graphics were not open to the public and stayed just between Initiative members. For this to work it would have to be open to the public and that would mean having to manage a lot of things such as submissions, graphic theft/ copyrights, graphic errors/ corrections, and rewards. Just a lot to deal with even when it is small, would be a lot bigger with open submissions. It is already a pain to deal with Christmas submissions I'm sure, but doing this every single month or even seasonal...

Just to add on to what Pharaoh said - it wasn't fair to give certain guilds privileges over every other guild, so they stopped it. Also, as Pharaoh said, I'm sure Christmas Submissions are already hard enough as it is. I don't think Leah or whomever checks the submissions would like to deal with more copyright, errors, distributing prizes and more threads like the one Ivy posted.

Would be cool if U.S. graalians can submit artwork like statues of paintings or something for a museum. Would be super cool IMO. And make them uber expensive so it's like a legit museum

This has been brought up before. One of the main reasons that the Museum closed was because nobody was left to manage it. I believe it was Trigger (I could be wrong on that one) that managed it prior. Once he left the Museum went with him.
