Help running Rust
So a lot of people have said rust is good, I saw it on sale and decided to get it. Try to play the game, the game runs absolutely horribly, turn my graphics all the way down and im getting 16 fps. Did not understand why until I checked the console System Information, and apparently for my gpu it is running what I assume is my internal graphics card instead of my main one. As its using some Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 128mb instead of my Geforce GTX 860m. I went into my nvidia control panel, changed the options for rust to make sure it only used my nvidia graphics card. Start up the game and it still is running ****, and isn't using my nvidia card, and now even if I turn the graphics up they stay at low quality. Have no idea what to do, I can run games like arma 3 basically in ultra with fine fps but rust is basically unplayable even on a smaller resolution and lowest graphics... I can also tell it's running rust differently, because usually when I am playing a game, my right fan turns on which I saw apparently only happens when it is using my external gpu or whatever, which it does automatically for all my other games except for rust. Pls halp (i have an intel i7 quadcore 2.5ghz, 16gb ram, nvidia 860m, laptop) - it also is the only game that I can't auto optimise in my nvidia panel, just says "unable to retrieve all current settings" |

Have you tried updating drivers in Nvidia GeForce Experience?
