In what way did they edit it and when was this? If it was recent then the rule might not apply anymore since I'm no longer the one in charge of guild hats. If they were changed I don't know why...it's not good to allow guilds to completely revise their hat once it's been submitted and distributed.
Are you referring to this hat? ![]() If so, I believe that was a GST hat...which is irrelevant to the guild hat topic. GST hats are made by staff, not players. Even if they were made by players it would still be irrelevant because GST is something that happens 4 times a year, as guild hats can happen multiple times a week. monitoring GST hats is much less of a pain than guild hats, so revising them isn't that big of a deal. If the same rules from when I dealt with guild hats still apply, then it's because allowing everyone to make large edits would create problems and confusion. There's simply too many guilds that reach 1k too often so we need to be strict about this sort of thing. The guild leader needs to make sure everything is in order and ready to go before sending us the hat and telling us they're ready. It's not that hard to do. If a minor error was noticed once the hat was uploaded and distributed, then they are allowed to edit it. Completely making a new hat is unnecessary if they told us what hat they wanted and we already went through the effort of uploading and distributing it. TL;DR: Small edits are allowed. It's simply easier for both the guild leader, hat maker, and staff if the leader makes sure everything is ready to go and to everyone's liking before having it distributed. Sometimes small errors go unnoticed until they wear it, so fixing them is no problem. But changing their mind on what they want at the last minute makes it harder for everyone. |

when their hat was first distributed, the forehead part was invisible. they got that fixed. so it wasn't a complete revision. although u answered all my questions, i still feel like there's a different reason behind all this. like 1k guild get passed on to somebody else and they request the hat change. to prevent that kind of thing. btw i appreciate ur answers, i hope this helped droid as well. |

It's still a bit off when you do the pulling move when pulling a wall in front of you upwards it's like the helmet kinda moves to one side a bit more than the other.

Not to mention that would be exploited to all hell. It's not fair that someone comes along and takes a guild that already has 1k and gets to make a new hat without even going through the effort of actually reaching 1k themselves. A lot of people reach 1k rather quickly and staff don't want to have to dawdle around waiting on one guild because they're being complicated by changing their minds and wanting a new hat over and over again. It would be a mess if we allowed guilds to do that. There is literally no other hidden reason behind it. No one wants to have to deal with that just because someone can't make up their mind.
