No it should stay an open player project, everyone sees iZone as a stepping stone to working on another server (I only know 1 person who left one of these servers to work on iZone) because they have no standards of quality

For anything to work first and foremost, it should stay an open player thing - a lot more people would be willing to make small things for fun while not having to be staff or leave their home servers.

This is actually pretty interesting. How does anyone propose that this happens? Would whoever manages/owns Zone at the moment truly let this happen?

If we could propose a method of allowing players to develop for Zone then I'm sure Alex Damian would listen.

So anyone with talent gnna help zone.. Or people just chatting?

Everyone should start getting little assignments here like create futuristic floor etc then try build everything in connecting to stuff.

Its all chat for now. I might link the thread over to ZP bs forums and erago. See if they think its a good idea. But i really want to hear from the other managers and staff from other ios servers and get there input on this and if they are willing to help.

If it turns out to actually happen and they think its a good idea, we need to vote on who is incharge of what and who is going to be the ones responsible for testing and copy pasting data into the game.

After the Christmas thing, I really doubt anyone on iClassic holds iZone in high regard, so youre best bet would be era or ol'west

Classic is still butthurt over that? I would think classic would be all over this idea since it involves completely dismantling the current staff and putting in a free player based thing meaning this type of **** cant happen unless we had permission from another server to use there idea.

Also if it does happen we can blame a player and we all know how much we love our witchhunts on graal.

There are Pro's and Con's to restarting Zone iPhone. But FRIED RICE and I are really trying hard to produce a lot of new things for iZone. In all honesty you can't blame it on management, if you have seen how hard we work, especially FRIED, he has worked so hard to come up with new projects the will improve iZone. We are trying to get our playercount back up. Sometimes the staff we MANAGE just don't want to cooperate which is difficult for us.

But don't think 'restarting' iZone has come to our minds because it has. I never thought of a full restart such as removing everyones accounts because that wouldn't work after all the money you have all paid for Zone but I was thinking about removing it from the appstore for a while and actually make the game amazing with nice sounds, background music, a nice gmap, an actual nice solar system with nice planets and baddies/aliens to battle off. Even planets with other towns and shops with special items. Yes it sounds like an amazing game but it would be a long time to create it into reality.

FRIED is also in the process of making a system that helps players send us ideas and talk to us about their ideas but it's in the work and I don't know much about it.

Knowing that iZone doesn't have a high playercount can also tell you that we dont get many applicants so we don't have much of a hiring list. But we now have people that will really help us out.

But expect many updates coming to Zone. I cannot promise you any dates that it will happen and don't get your hopes up that they will occur soon. Nice updates don't come easy. But I promise you

They will be worth the wait.

I have an open mind and I try to get players to help out with iZone. I was starting to do more graphic submissions because we were lacking in graphics made by our own team which was sad. So I made a contest for players to submit graphics. We have a low playercount which means a low amount of people that even make graphics that play Zone. But the ones who did submit graphics did a nice job and I will release a shop filled with their things soon enough. I like having players join in on the help, it helps iZone which I want iZone to succeed and having players help sounds like a fun and great idea but I don't think the idea of having them 'overthrow' zone or whatever some of you guys said would be a proper idea.

But really, if you do have an idea for iZone that is actually reasonable that our team could produce the graphics for and things like that I'd love to hear it. I am open to any idea really just shoot me an Email with the subject 'iZone Idea'. My email is [email protected] I'm sure many of you have amazing ideas.
