If he wanted to give the impression that more players are playing than really are, he could just ask fp4 to add 20% to the playercount on the damn map or tell his web developer to inflate that number on the website, whatever...

Can advertise the game/pimp it more saying 2500+ online players at all time vs how many without afk people. Maybe looking to sell? I have no idea lol

Can't judge people like that. You don't even know how much they spend.
Unixmad is just the head (probably) of the people that manage graal.
Then there are the people who invest in graal and manage it's money.

I doubt Unixmad is the only person who decides where the money will be spent, and there are most likely a lot of other people that need to be paid.
Advertising, Accountants, Lawyers, etc.

The only thing that shows is that no matter how many of these rant threads are made, people will still play graal, and make ToonSlab more money.

Toonslab is not some big corporation, I've never heard of anyone else working for the company aside from Stephane Portha and Stefan Knorr. Probably because it has no need to be public knowledge, but there's not an employee base of 100 people working for the app.

Isn't there some way to force a server change through GScript? Maybe there needs to be a dummy server filled with empty levels where everyone is sent after 10-20 minutes of being idle, and as soon as they move they are reconnected back to Classic, I don't know

server just bugged out and put me in a singles spar with the 2 people sparring I had 0.5 health from another spar and died which gave me a loss.  

Started a spar, lost my 13 streak because of the server spiking and kicking me off the spar.  

Has the game been updated to iOS9 yet?

I saw 4 people and one noob on a mount in a spar lmao it was literally a PK mosh pit in a spar. But yeah we really need 2 servers or something which has been suggested in the past a stat server (where the whole over world is PK/spar) and a afk/role play/social/events server for all the people who just hang out. It's a daily thing now and it's horrible I'm surprised after what 2 years it still hasn't been sorted out and it's gonna continue getting worse I wouldn't be surprised by 2017 the player count will at least be 4500 - 5000 by then.

Because I'm UK I'm above 100ms, below 2800 people I'm 130 - 140ms, 3000 I'm 140 - 160, 3200+ - 4000+ I'm 150 - 280 and maybe to 300 or more which happens rarely but it's horrible to play with.

Why can't nobody get unixmads attention? Why won't he sort this out? Why not put his email on the classic news so everyone can spam his ass to get him to sort this **** out.

The server is DYING right in front of us and we can't do anything because unixmad DOES NOT CARE AT ALL. If what dusty posted was not sarcasm I have the feeling that the staff obviously don't care.

Knowing the staff on here...This lag will cause people to get stuck on buildings etc. and they'll ban them for "hacking/cheating"

I'm sure it's not a matter of him being unaware, I think he genuinely just gives 0 ****s. There's like 5 glaring typos in the email, but I don't think he can properly read half of it anyway.

What does unixmad do with his weekly income from graal I wonder? most likely spend it on himself. There is no way he will even bother upgrading when the server is clearly hosted for an extremely cheap amount.

 

There is no lag on classic.  

today was particularly bumpy because i crashed the npcserver a few times so muh bad there guys.

on the flip side, idlers are handled differently now to use less resources overall.

People on drasines and horses (I think?) don't trigger the built-in disconnection that's broken, just mentioning it in case that could be useful  

i know unixmad, he wouldnt ban you because of this, youre just an immature child, thats what he thinks

When is the server going to be upgraded/fixed, Its nearly impossible to spar, pk or bk atm and its been like this for months.

not much lag, but i'm sure everyone still freezes. Not sure what causes that tbh
