I don't even get why you would have a codeshop.
1. Gralats have no value in real life.
2. Energy bills to keep your device alive cost more than the gralats you earn.
3. The electricity you could have saved could be invested into a gralat pack that earns you more money than a codeshop.
4. You spend like 24/7 afk while earning a low amount of gralats
5. Your house looks like garbage, they always have crappy designs and are just plain ugly due to random furniture everywhere, ew

It usually costs less than $5 per year to maintain your phone's charge. I'm pretty sure you could make more gralats (equivalent to real life dollars) as opposed to buying them yourself.  

Classic community is just as toxic as Era playerbase

I have a codeshop and I am offended.

There is a right way and a wrong way to do codeshops and not all of them are scams. Some can even be beneficial to players that know about TaylorRichaards. For example, a sword code like c5w-sword2.png is not something someone would search for on TaylorRichaards. Good codeshops take all the good codes and put them in one convenient location for others to see without requiring them to do any searching.

Of course, the main reason I have a codeshop is to make easy gralats, not to help players find codes (because yes I am lazy and the Graal economy is a rip off). But that's why it's called a shop.

BEST CODES AT MY HOUSE! COMPLETE MAZE FIRST. For some, after the maze, there's no code....... *Sigh*

Besides the point, you waste time, money, and electricity. Think of your poor parents who go out everyday to earn a single penny.

Yeah, I know people have houses like that, but not all.

And I don't see how it is wasting time. I'm not sitting there staring at the screen. In fact, this actually let's me make more use of my time. Idle on noob account that has a shop and earn money while I do other things on my main account or even something else besides Graal. And as someone else mentioned I doubt this uses very much electricity.

You seem really close minded, why would anyone not want to have a self-sustaining source of graal income? If someone makes 25k gralats from their code shop they save $9.99 they are making gralats and saving money while everyone else is spending real life money.

25k from a code shop would take like a month or longer lmao  

It's not like people do it because they're terrible people, they just do it because it's meta... It's literally the smartest no-purchase, no-time-investment way to make gralats in the game and it's completely legal and enabled by the way the game works

It's the same thing with the "hat chaser" guilds, recycled 1k guilds happen because the game allows it and it's the best way to do it
I personally find code shops and 1k guilds to be stupid and unhealthy for gameplay, but if I wanted to tower for a hat or farm for gralats, would I do both of them? Sure, I'd be stupid not to

My first explorations in graal were just going to people's codeshops. I never experienced a game that allowed this kind of content. I think it's really cool, yeah pointless once you get on an idevice and go to Taylor Richards, but cool.
I have a CODESHOP now and try to fill it with as many codes as possible and make it easily accessible. I display when I'm afk or I display to troll tower defenders that I pwn ( like Yall so weak I can set up shop and still clear the room...my lilego trips)

Please don't get rid of codeshops unixmad told hell disconnect your xfinity if you do.
