I remember getting Pokemon Blue for my birthday and playing the absolute hell out of it with my friend who had Red. So many hours grinding Safari Zone for rare pokemon.

However they should focus less on implementing ****ty neopet pokemon to add more to the already insane count and revolutionize the gameplay. My problem is that every new game adds more pokemon(150+ NEW POKEMON, OMG!!!) but how does that matter? They remove the old pokemon and put in clones of the old ones in place. For example, the starting area will always have cookie cutter bird pokemon, normal pokemon and so on. What's the point? Just keep the old ones in. Adding new ones that are the same as the old ones and then taking out the old ones doesn't actually add anything new to the game.

I want a damn 3D real-time rpg/action-adventure pokemon already, but they're too scared to actually change anything.

Yeah, I must admit, though. Pokemon Crystal was definitely a favorite of mine. I wish they had a 3D real-time rpg/action-adventure Pokemon too.

Ruby/Sapphire had everything.
Updated simple graphics and effects, original cool looking pokemon.
Bunch of mini games like berry blending, move contests, slots, roulette.
Had all the stuff like fishing and biking, safari zone, pokemon daycare, hideout decorating...

Pretty sure all of that was already in Gold/Silver/Crystal.

the new ones are gheeyeyyeyeyyyy...lol thats just how each, um generation I guess thinks of the newer ones..I played gold but I really got into it with ruby then that died off and i started playing halo or something haha

Ruby/Sapphire are the games that started the downward spiral into "gheyness." In fact, they don't really do anything better than the newer games do. The only thing they had going for it when they were released were the graphics.

Gold/Silver were pretty much the peak of the games, and then it went downhill. Even Gold/Silver suffered from the whole "add new pokemon" thing, except back then it was the first time new pokemon had been introduced(and before the games they were slowly leaked in magazines and such). But looking back they added a lot of useless pokemon too, but it's just not as bad as "WOO 150+ MORE POKEMON ON TOP OF THE ALREADY 500 EXISTING ONES!!!!" They also merged the old pokemon with the new ones in the game, rather than holding all the older pokemon on you until after you beat the Elite 4.

Look at the old pokemon. The original ones. Now look at the latest chibi colorful rounded off abominations they made. I mean contests? Seriously? Entering death machines in pageants?

Sure a lot of the fancy graphics and new features are great, but its so freaking horrible what they have done to the game itself.

Violence, human vs human fighting, any environmental undertones, Pokemon physically hurting eachother or Pokemon being "injured" is now all gone because of it conforming to parents complaints and to target young kids. It's ruining itself as a game.

Look at the first movie and watch the newer ones. You'll see right away how while the animation is better and the special effects better, the movies been tamed down to the same ****ty thing.

Um I'm sorry, would you like to go and make a forum where people can only post what you like?

Most people that played the older games like them, but newer gamers can't because it's hard to find a working gba or gbc now.
