Just to be clear - this is not an attack on the mods, users or guests who use this forum.

Graalians has been very stale and inactive recently, and by recently I mean for the past 6 months. We have not seen any daily to weekly activity in a longgg time and by that I mean:

• Threads that actually relate to the game
• Threads that aren't troll threads
• Threads which are actually productive and don't cause immense flame wars
• Threads which aren't closed 10 minutes after they're posted

We have some guy posting troll threads everyday in the iClassic sub forum who is literally named "Some guy" which are ******ed walls of text used to start stupid and pointless arguments.

It's almost like our beloved (hes not loved by us all its just a figure of speech) Colin has abandoned us and left us with a plague of trolls.

I suggest we advertise graalians.com on the official iGraal and PC graal servers rather then letting it sit here and hoping it becomes active for 1 week (which is always the week a gst for iClassic is on) rather then letting it wither away.  

I send a lot of people to Graalians.com from iClassic, but I'm not sure I've seen too many of them around.

I can add a link in my house if you think that will help at all (if I don't have one already).

Because In my opinion productive threads are what makes the forum stale

They are all like this

Colin: (quotes op ) "This "
Thread Closed  

Doesn't feel any different to me.

There's always going to be that one ****** who creates an account for the sake of trolling or ****posting every now and then.

They have their 20 minutes of fame before a mod comes in and closes up shop.

And for whatever reason, people consider such events as "meaningful" and think it's brings good tidings to the forum when it actually makes everyone here look like complete idiots.

The first problem is the automatic assumption a lot of users tend to make that people are always trolling when they aren't - case and point being Some Guy's posts.

His two recent threads were him trying to discuss some possible theories on Gnomes and the Golden Blob (both of which relate to the game) which users replied to calling him out on being a troll when really he is just posting in the Classic section about Classic related things.

Instead of saying "hey you're a troll" the threads could easily be used for players to discuss Gnomes/Golden Blobs which would be a productive thread, and I am glad some users took that opportunity.

Normally these questions tend to be things related to their account, in-game offences and/or issues - things like this are what toonslab is for which is why threads that are answered by telling them to contact toonslab are closed because there is nothing else to it and therefore nothing to discuss.

If somebody asks a question that is just about the game or something in it, then it is not closed for being answered and remains open for discussion (unless closed for another reason).  

You seem new to forums.  

Yeah, people just don't want to/too lazy to post their own insights on ideas.

I tell people to vote on a poll, but most just lie and say okay, since they are too lazy to even make an account.

Would be nice, if there was an in-game forum.

Another reason for that is just there isn't much happening lately. The last real event was interstellar nexus, but after that there really hasn't been anything to discuss. Also what vici said above, most of us are busy
