You don't get the right to complain if you either didn't ****ing vote or just voted for the sake of voting. Your vote is meant to make a difference so USE IT TO MAKE A DIFFERANCE INSTEAD OF JUST ADDING ON TO THE WINNING SIDE. I don't get how to guys don't think your votes are meant to be representative of YOU as an individual. Telling me to grow up doesn't get you anywhere. In fact, I'd rather not boast but at least I can man up to what I think is right. Doesn't that make me "mature"? Geez you guys should identify as brick walls at this point. Seriously, at this point I dont give a **** about who you vote for at this point. Just the fact that you guys would even think of something as totally spineless as that is just astounding. |

The current system doesn't allow any other candidate other than those from the Democratic or Republican parties to thrive or even be known unless you're into politics, which most people are not. Throwing your vote into a party you support, even if it isn't one of the main two, is nice and all. but that vote literally means **** cause it's below 1% that anyone other than a republican/democratic nominee will get any coverage and have their names thrown out there. The beginning is always about having your name out there so people recognize it. So, when people say that they're just going to vote for one of the main parties instead of one that they fully support, it's normal because that's how the system works. Telling people who care very little about politics to do what you're saying instead of telling them reform is needed, is disheartening. "your vote matters" is a lie. It doesn't unless if it's for one of the two major parties who have twisted and corrupted the system. tl;dr Your vote matters=You'll use the pythagorean theorem in life all the time. |

That isn't spineless, that's doing what you can do actually impact the election.
It would be fantastic if the third party candidates had a system in which they could thrive, and the libertarian party is indeed on a rise especially in youth nowadays. Maybe one day we'll see it able to compete with the main two parties as of current. |

You won't impact the election if you just vote for the side that is already winning. The reason why third party candidates get so little attention is because of **** like this. "Oh I like so and so but this other candidate on the democratic/republican side is getting more attention so I might as well look there." WTF is this? You're not benefiting the winning side at all whatsoever if you add use your only vote for them so cast your vote to the person you like the most regardless of where they stand in the election. THAT VOTE WILL MATTER FOR THAT CANDIDATE SO THEREFORE YOU WILL ACTUALLY BE MAKING A DIFFERENCE.
Do they get the right to complain? Of course they ****ing don't, they voted for them FFS. **** it. Communist Russia it is then. |
