I don't see how you can determine the "skill" this way unless both guilds have the same amount of members on at all times. A guild of 25 noobs can hold back from 6 pros for pretty much forever.

It's the most efficient form of getting a reward. If it wasn't for the reward very few of those guilds would tower. Efficiency has no place in towering if you're up against a guild that has more players with nothing better to do with their time. Which leads me back to the original post I quoted. Saying that a retired tower guild is the same as a dead 1k hat guild makes no sense.

Players that were in Nal, VG, CoM, and other similar guilds have pride in their guild. They did it to tower while guilds that are soley for the purpose of chasing a hat have 0 players that have any pride in that guild. You really think anyone is going to look back and brag about towers inc? That's probably like the 5th hat guild for a lot of them.

Yeah wrong choice of words - your first sentence is what I meant. As for people towering for the sole purpose of getting a hat, why not? No one can tell people how to tower.

If the hats are making certain good players tower actively, I say give them their hats  

Hopefully they towering system changes to 3 towers or 4 so more competition overall (: and no 1k.

Noone understands that better than I do. We were not talking about that being good/bad or right/wrong. Whatever I said was to make a point that a hat guild is not the same as a tower guild.

By hacking or obtaining access to the guild leaders account (afterwards revoke their access) to transfer leadership to another account. Theres also intentional scamming as well.

I may be wrong but the old leader of towers inc surely gave leadership to the person that "stole it". It's not stealing when you give a guild to someone. It's the leaders fault for not actually knowing that person well enough to know that they would pass on to someone else. It was a risk he was willing to take and that's what ended up happening.  

That guild was not stolen by Mood or anyone in it currently, it was stolen by Vaazk when he was convinced that he and his group of friends were going to tower. They didn't, so he gave the Mood to guild (probably at the promise of a hat).

Mood did not know the guild was stolen when he accepted it, and even if he did then it's his own choosing if he decides to keep it. He had nothing to do with it originally getting stolen and it's the original leader's fault. It's not difficult to not get your guild stolen, and anyone who does steal them is an idiot. Mood, Sugar, and the rest of them were not involved in that.
