Dammit, they spelt metal wrong.
Team Fortress 2 has recently been given a major update. The major part of this update are the balancing of weapons. Some of your favourite weapons might suck now! Woohoo. You may also find that some weapons are now more practical than other weapons now, such as that rake thing the Pyro has.
Some changes include:
-The Powerjack only gives 25 health as opposed to 75
-The Panic Attack isn't as bad anymore
-The Bazaar Bargain doesn't lose "heads" on misses
-Major Dead Ringer revamp
-Brass Beast has added damage resistance when spun up
... And more! Lots more.
As an added bonus, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive's skin system has been implemented into Team Fortress 2, which means you can finally paint your favourite stock weapons for whatever reason. Oh, they also get weathered. Your lovely-looking skins can get ugly. You can check your weapon skins out, similar to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. You can finally see more than just the left-side of your rocket launcher!
If you have $8 lying around, you can receive contracts. They're little objectives you can complete to earn points. I believe you can get a weapon skin if you complete enough of them. Contracts range from getting backstabs as the Spy, or killing a airborne enemy with the Soldier.
A few new features have been added to Team Fortress 2 as well. You can now pick up fallen weapons and use them! You can only pick up weapons that belong to your class, so you can't be a rocket-jumping Scout (unfortunately). You can no longer pick up weapons to gain ammo/metal, but killed players now drop medium-sized ammo crates 100% of the time to compensate.
Three new maps have been added, including the mythical Snowplow! Woohoo!
Also, the competitive scene is coming.
